Aspire to Inspire
I originally created Red Ruby Rouge as a home for US designers in the UK, a little menage-a-designer for exciting and lesser-known stateside collections aimed at customers like me who just yearn for something you can't find on the high street.
With NYC as my home from home, my dream purchases were always those items I'd never seen before, something so unique and full of inspiration that I could bank on at least several 'oooh where did you get that from' comments from friends (admit it, we all love those).
Now, after several RRR years, we have built up quite the family: of designers, of customers and even a couple of baby stow-aways who have joined my own personal team (although it's arguable how much help they are....). With this wonderful support, we have been able to approach a new season with a new direction.
RRR will continue to be a home for young designers, but now more than ever, we are focusing on emerging designers from all areas of the globe. Whether a bohemian leather craftsman from Uruguay or a hand printed silk designer from Brooklyn, we consider it our fortunate mission to track down the most interesting and aspirational artists whose products will inspire us for more than just the season, but instead will become
the items that embed into your wardrobe for far longer.
We understand that purchases are precious, that these days, seasons merge into one and with that in mind, our goal is to make sure that you can always look to us for something special, something aspirational and something you will be proud to hold onto.
