I'm refusing to be beaten by the slow arrival of summertime and instead choose to focus entirely on the all things beach and oceana inspired. I'm confident that channelling golden sands and azure waters will somehow encourage hotter climes. Seems reasonable right? 

As far as beauty beauties, topping my list this month are delicate Mediterranean blues, whether it's Rachel Rose's powder blue Peter Pan Collar Silk T, Emi Jay's Seabreeze selection of ribbon hair ties or the perfect Pepperminty shade of nail polish from Ciate. I'll be pairing them with sandy gold infused leathers from Sabrina Tach and the perfect maxi-dress accessory, the ammonite long faceted chain from Soft Gold. My last and frankly 'most-obsessed-obsession' this month is the Seahorse Stacking Ring from Mr Kate - with just the right amount of whimsy, I can't wait to layer this with By Boe Braided Leather Rings and a serious amount of tan (the latter may take some time) to make me beach ready. We have been shouting about our favourite hair product for a little while now and we just knew we wouldn't be the only ones to fall in love with these cute and practical little ribbon hair ties. Cut to this week and one of our favourite fashion bibles, Look Magazine - of course they heart them too! Let the EJ word spread.... 

Very close to starting a fan club for my new obsession….. A simple product but suddenly the one thing I can’t live without (how does that happen overnight?).

The creation of two smarty-chic US teenagers, Emi-Jay brings us these eye-catching ribbon hair ties and I for one, cannot get enough. I heart these little beauties and am fast amassing a rainbow collection to make sure that I’ve stockpiled enough to get me through any summer wardrobe / hair scenario. They come in pretty pop colours, look super-chic in your hair (if it’s good enough for Jen Anniston, we’re all over it), don’t give your hair that nasty bobble ridge and stop my wrist looking like I’m trying to cut circulation if I’m wearing them like pretty little bracelets. Perfect.

Consider all hair issues solved – now my summer hair emergency essentials are just Emi-Jays and dry shampoo, done!
